Our Checklist and Hospital Bag provides you with the essentials. We recognize that you will need to add some personal bits and bobs to your bags.

We sell individual items as reckon some moms would want to pack and choose their own items.

During Labour

  • Medical Folder (maternity notes, baby notes, birth plan)
  • Dressing Gown – comfy, loose fitting and accessible to allow for movement around hospital if necessary
  • Socks
  • Slippers – slide on for ease of movement
  • Vaseline or Lip Balm – must have to hydrate your lips (we've got you covered!)
  • Cup with straw – ease of drinking during labour


  • Hand Held Fan
  • Hot Water Bottle
  • Special Pillows
  • Aromatherapy Oils - to help you relax during Labour
  • TENS Machine

After Birth

  • Sleepwear
  • Disposable Knickers (dark colours, large and comfy ones!)
  • Maternity Pads (we've got you covered!)
  • Nursing Bra
  • Breast Pads (we've got you covered!)
  • Towel
  • Flip flop – for showering (we've got you covered!)
  • Clothes – comfy clothes and front opening wears to help with breastfeeding and going home outfit
  • Toiletries Bag – hairbrush, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser and hair ties (we've got you covered!)
  • Laundry Bag (we've got you covered!)

Items For Your Baby

  • Two to Four Baby Sleepsuits or Outfits and Vests (we've got you covered!)
  • Muslin Squares (we've got you covered!)
  • Socks
  • Scratch Mittens
  • Hat (we've got you covered!)

  • Newborn Nappies (we've got you covered!)
  • Wipes or Cotton Wool – depending on how you want to clean your baby (we've got you covered!)

Labour can sometimes be very long, your birth partner should be prepared for a long shift and be prepared to provide emotional, physical and spiritual support.
